Our Services

We prepare and submit import and export customs declarations, helping businesses meet Irish and EU customs requirements and keep shipments moving efficiently.

Our team can also assist with associated border and port requirements, including ENS safety and security declarations, Pre-Boarding Notifications (PBNs), Goods Movement References (GMRs) and Electronic Logistics Envelope (ELO) requirements, where applicable. We work with importers, exporters, hauliers and freight forwarders to ensure the relevant documentation and reference numbers are in place before goods travel.

Goods entering or leaving the EU may require advance safety and security information. Gracey Customs Clearance can prepare and submit the relevant Entry Summary Declarations (ENS) and Exit Summary Declarations (EXS), helping ensure the required information is provided before the goods move.

ICS2 is now fully operational for all transport modes entering the EU, with advance cargo information used for safety and security risk analysis.

We help hauliers, importers, exporters and logistics providers manage the documentation required for compliant movements.

Goods may need to move under a customs transit procedure when travelling through customs territories before reaching their final destination. Gracey Customs Clearance can arrange T1 transit declarations and NCTS transit documentation, helping goods move under customs control while duties and import taxes can remain suspended until the appropriate customs procedure is completed.

Revenue's NCTS system is used to submit and finalise transit declarations electronically, including the electronic messages required for acceptance, release and discharge.

Importing certain food, animal products, animal by-products or regulated plants and plant products into Great Britain may require an IPAFFS notification before arrival.

Gracey Customs Clearance can assist with IPAFFS notifications and supporting documentation for relevant UK-bound consignments, helping ensure the required pre-notification information is submitted correctly and on time. IPAFFS requirements depend on the type and risk category of the goods being imported.

If you're unsure whether your goods require an IPAFFS notification, contact our team before shipping.

Certain animals, animal products, food, feed, plants and plant products entering the EU are subject to specific sanitary and phytosanitary controls. Gracey Customs Clearance can assist with TRACES notifications and associated import documentation where required.

TRACES is the EU's online system for managing sanitary and phytosanitary certification and includes Common Health Entry Documents such as CHED-A, CHED-P and CHED-PP for relevant consignments.

We help businesses understand the documentation required before regulated goods arrive at the Irish border.

Some goods are subject to import licences, export licences, permits or other regulatory controls. These requirements can vary depending on the type of goods, commodity code, origin and destination.

Gracey Customs Clearance can help identify when additional authorisation may be required and assist with the relevant licence applications and supporting customs documentation, helping you prepare your shipment before it reaches the border.
